Hi,
Another patient in clinic mentioned about using sap extracted from a particular cactus to help treat GBM 4. Has anyone come across this and knows which Cactus and how to get the sap out etc? TIA
Hi TBizzle72
not something that has crossed my radar over the past couple of years. As with any holistic/herbal/natural remedy/supplement I would strongly suggest talking to the medical team first to get their thoughts on it. There can be all sorts of impacts that could impact prescribed medication. Best to err on the side of caution.
I'm sure others in the group will be along shortly to share their thoughts and experience

Hey TBizzle72,
Fully agree with Wee Me. I'm very cautious of anything like this (special diets, extracts, etc.). My feeling is that if it worked then someone would have done a clinical trial and would be shouting from the rooftops, because anything that has even a small percentage benefit would be rapidly become a focus of big research budgets.
Which doesn't really add anything to waht Wee Me said - but I didn't want to just ignore the question.
Pete
