Ive just had results of my MRI scan on my shin bone. Shows 1.5cm mass and 19cm bone marrow involvement. Due for a biopsy next then treatment i guess. Has anyone else experienced this? Im panicking!
Hi Rosie30 ……. sorry to hear your news. Lymphoma can basically turn up anywhere in the body but on the whole and regardless the size and position, Lymphoma is very treatable…… back in late 2013 I had bone marrow involvement and a brick sized mass in my neck (20 x 10 x 6 cm) but the chemo did its job.
The new biopsy is most likely checking to see if your FL has transformed to a high-grade…… I had been living with my low- grade CTCL for 14 years but a completely new high-grade PTCL appeared but it was all successfully treated and I am now 9+ years out from treatment and doing great ((hugs))
