Hi

Have been diagnosed and starting treatment after Boxing Day they are using R-CHOP treatment my cancer is in my stomach and spread to the chest they tell me that is quite common with this form of F Lymphoma

They tell me my first chemo session will last between 6 and 7 hrs and I will be stopping in hospital for at least overnight then I will have Chemo as an outpatient in three 3 week cycles

Just wondered if anyone can give me an idea of what to expect I know the hair loss etc just wondered how I will be feeling in the days after treatment

Any useful information for me and my wife we would be grateful

Just heard from Addenbrookes Hospital  got my PET/CT scan tomorrow morning at 08:30 so a really early start for me as it's nearly a three hour drive away from home, but so pleased it's so soon and should get the results the following Wednesday

Good luck!  I had my last PET/CT at Addenbrookes - they were very good.

PET/CT Scan done everything went fine really good care from Addenbrookes, NHS have given me great care from PCH and Addenbrookes fantastic people who I have nothing but praise for

Radiographer said the scans would be looked at by a consultant today and a report sent to PCH today with the images sent to PCH on Monday, my team look at them and discuss them on Wednesday morning and my Cancer nurse said they would ring me Wednesday afternoon with the results and what happens next.

Hope your treatment is going well Peter, fingers crossed for you.

Good luck Nicky hope you have a plan on your next steps soon

I'm so glad you are getting your results back soon Fred.  Just having a date, that Wednesday afternoon you will get a call, is more comforting than hearing "sometime" in the next few weeks.  I hope the results are good!

    Hi BedrockFred

I don’t often comment but I look at all the posts with interest as I’m on watch and wait. I’ve been with you as you’ve talked about your treatment and am keeping everything I have crossed for good news today.
