I cant stop crying

Hi Paul,

I'm not sure either, I've not been formally diagnosed as yet. However reading up on the referral letter. I have both characteristics. It's raid and I have fluid behind my eye. First seen at Moorfields 6 years ago. Then I was told it was an eye freckle. Now it's suspected to have changed. 

Feels like it's all over I know that's dramatic but I'm ready to go yet. I'm 57 with lots to still do. 

As I say I'm not sure what I'm asking.

Well I appreciate your stress levels as I recall feeling exactly the same. Firstly, stating the obvious, it might not be cancer. But let’s deal with it being cancer (as that’s your fear understandably), it doesn’t mean that you’re inevitably going to die from it in the near future! While googling the statistics can put the fear of God into you, many people live many years with the diagnosis and treatment can assist after his spread. You might want to make contact with Ocumel, a charity that supports people with OM. My advice (as hard as it is) is try to take one day at a time. It does get better as you will emotionally adjust to it but it takes time for that. Good luck and sending my thoughts etc..,

Thinking of you at this time, hope you have a sense of peace on your heart as you find your way through all there is to process after your eye cancer diagnosis.
