Hi everyone,
First diagnosed by optition and referred to opthalmology. I have been going to get a large choroidal nevus (9mm) checked yearly for about 12 years now. Never any change!! Untill my routine optition check-up in February.
The nevus measured 9mm and totally surrounds my optic disc, but part of it has grown. Referred back to local opthalmology hospital last month and told need to be seen by the Glasgow eye hospital and to expect appointment within the month!
I have appointment tomorrow in Glasgow and really wish I had found this group earlier.
You are all do supportive of each other.
Keep your fingers crossed for me.
Thank you.
Was an early start and a long day .
Not really any further forward!! Been getting yearly checkups for 12yrs. It has changed but want to wait and watch to monitor if the growth in last 6 months is sow or quick.
Just a waiting game really.
I need to pull myself together and try not to worry!!
