Chorodial melanoma

Hi I’m doing ok thanks , I didn’t like the treatment but I am lucky that my tumour is in the front of my eye so it was diagnosed early and I didn’t have to have the markers. 
I also thought I would have a follow up at 6 weeks but I haven’t had any appointments for this as yet just one for August time. I emailed Liverpool and the nurse said at 6 weeks it’s at your local hospital and it’s not to assess the tumour only to see if eye has settled . I was told that the tumour will remain but over the next 18 months might shrink , proton beam therapy will kill off any cancer cells but will need life long monitoring.
