I have registered to the website. Thank you for pointing it out. My husband was diagnosed with ocular melanoma in 2007 after several optician vists. Unfortunately it spread to his liver last summer and he passed away in november. He was the love of my life and i am bereft beyond belief, i'm still finding i can't accept he's not coming back.
Helen47,
Sorry my post is so far between your post, but I recently just registered at this site.
I am very sorry about the loss of your husband. I My sister passed away after her eye cancer spread to her liver. She caught it early, she had her eye removed, but they did not remove it right away. She passed away in 2013. She was 47. I still have a hard time coming to terms with her death. I cry almost every time I think about it. My mother blames the doctor, which it is possible they should have known where it would spread when her symptoms came back. It is so unfair, but I remember the good times we had together, as it is what my sister would want.
I am not sure if you will get this as it is so far apart from your initial post, but I wish you the best.
God bless.
