Hello all. I'm looking for some advice about getting the liver scan I was told I needed "soon" in January (when I had my proton beam radiotherapy). Everyone says it is not them that orders it and I was finally referred to Southampton by Liverpool St Paul's where I was being seen but they haven't got in contact with a date and I really want to be seen in Bristol, where I live! Any thoughts about who to get on the case?

Get on to your consultant that did you proton beam therapy , your GP, Macmillan nurse if you have one. Don’t let up until it’s booked. I had an MRI a couple of weeks ago and just found out I have mets in my liver. Wait8ng on a treatment plan. It’s so important, do not stop nagging until you get it.x

Your oncologist should have a treatment plan for you, if you were referred by the NHS to a clinic for proton beam therphy then that clinic may only be providing the treatment and not the diagnosics.And so speak to your oncologist If you went private I would be interested to know where you went for your proton beam therphy. Hupe you have already made some headway on this and have it sorted by now x
