I was diagnosed a few days ago; I must admit to still feeling rather numb! I've read lots of info online but would appreciate any input in dealing with the early days of this condition!
Hi and welcome to this corner of the Community although always sorry to see folks joining us. I am Mike Thehighlander and I help out around our blood cancer groups.
I was diagnosed way back in 1999 with a rare incurable but treatable type of skin Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Stage 4a and although my blood cancer ‘type’ is rather different I have experienced most types of treatments used but not necessarily the exact same drug mix.
There have been a few new members join the CLL group over the past few weeks so let’s look for them to pick up on your post but I am always around to help out as best as I can.
Do also check out Lymphoma Action, a small UK Lymphoma Specific Charity who have lots of information, videos and run regular regional online Lymphoma Zoom support groups and indeed a great Lymphoma Buddy Service.
Thank you,Mike, The Highlander! for your warm welcome! Sorry for the delay in replying; I'd forgotten that I logged in via social media and was trying to use a password!
I'll have a look around the site before I post any questions.
