Has anyone else had oesophageal stricture following FCR? I recently had a barium swallow which diagnosed a narrowing in my oesophagus. The consultant report said it was related to the effects of chemotherapy- will need to have a dilatation under GA.
Not sure I was aware of that potential side effect. Would be good to know if anyone else has experienced this?

In my now 14 years of monitoring most of the CLL forums I have never heard of the FCR treatment leading to a narrowing in the oesophagus.

I would suggest that you get a second opinion from someone who specialises in the treatment of CLL.

Sadly many UK doctors do not see many CLL patients and their knowledge is not always up to date.

There you will find over 3,000 members who have CLL and then might get more answers.
