I was first diagnosed in 1999 with my first type of Lymphoma, a second appeared in late 2013……. But I am coming up to 10 years post treatment, turn 70 in a few months and am still living a great life.
My version of this blood disease, is CLL, Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia.
Diagnosed TWENTY YEARS ago, and I presently live a perfectly normal life.
CLL could now almost be described as a treatable disease, due to the big range of drugs now available to keep our disease under control. The progress in the last 20 years has been truly amazing, and for which I, and many others, are very grateful.
