Had a phone call from my "cancer doctor" the other week and have received some good news about my treatment of CML. I was only diadnosed with CML back in February 2022 and already thanks to the Imatinib drug not only am I responding well to it but the doctor has said that I am in major molecular remission. The doctor has also stated that it looks like I will be able to come off the drug at the five year stage, although I still have another four years of taking Imatinib daily.
Hi again CML53 and it’s good to hear your update.
It’s amazing what these drugs can do…… let’s look for you to have a great Christmas and look forward with confidence that 2023 will be a good year.
