Hi All,
I had my bloods done in Feb and they moved my appointment to today to get the results of my MPN and what they've said is basically I am severely anemic which COULD be the cause of my thrombocytosis, so they're going to treat that for 3 months and then if my thrombocytosis improves this good but if not it'll be a bone marrow biopsy to check for blood cancer officially. However, they aren't saying if I have it, all they said was my JAK2 was negative but it could be from another mutation? I don't really understand where I am at in terms of a diagnosis, I am confused if I have non-cml or not? They're dealing with the secondary cause is what they called it. And the primary cause is essential thrombocythemia, so do I have essential thrombocytopenia or not I am baffled ?
