Hi guys, my smear results came back that I had HPV, high grade dyskaryosis and invasive squamous cell carcinoma, from this 2 weeks ago I had a colonoscopy and the Leitz procedure, still waiting for the results now. Feeling very chewed up and emotional as from my understanding squamous cell carcinoma is cancer??? And the invasive part means it’s spread to healthy tissue??? Sorry if I’m wrong just looking for some clarification as the doctors are not giving me much to go on and I think the waiting is making it so difficult.
