Hi.
I have a few questions regarding cervical cancer. My sister was diagnosed with it and she is after surgery. She lives abroad. Now the doctor told her that everything is fine but they want her to go to hospital in October and take biopsy from her lymph nodes. Is that normal? They said that they want to close her oncology card and they need to do it. She is worried so I am. The doctors there they are not supportive. I am worried about her mental health also. Can anybody help? Thanks.
Hi and welcome to the online community
I'm sorry to read that your sister has been diagnosed with cervical cancer and I know what a worrying time this will be for the whole family.
I can't answer your question, as I had a different type of cancer, but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. By replying to you it will 'bump' your post back to the top of the discussion list where it'll be more easily seen.
While you're waiting for replies it would be great if you could pop something about your sister's diagnosis and treatment into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
