Hi everyone. I have had radiotherapy on my brain which resulted in hair loss! This was over two months ago and there is no sign of regrowth. Has this happened to anyone?
Hi Jaz283 I think hair loss in the area being treated is a common side effect of radiotherapy. I had radiotherapy to part of my underarm and breast and had arm pit hair loss.
I would talk to your doctor about it as I think the hair doesn't always grow back or if it does it can grow back different to how it was before.
Hope your doctor is able to give you some useful advice.
Hello jaz283 I had rads on uperneck back of head..Treatment did go into hair air and I did loose hair in that area.. my didn't really grow back have an area with a little fluff covering.
