Hello everyone, to give a background I was diagnosed in Feb 2018 with left breast IDC grade 2 and spread to lymph nodes. Had partial mastectomy, chemo, radiotherapy, bishophates and started Anatrozole. In February 2021 high grade DCIS was found in other (right) breast resulting in full mastectomy.
Last few weeks have developed on and off ache /pain in right leg which seems to radiate in thigh and shin areas, few times now I have been woken at night with more pain but this does come and go. I'm finding it difficult to describe it's more of a radiating ache not a sharp pain.
I'm very conscious that after having breast cancer I might be worrying about every niggle and that this would be nothing at all, but also would like to hear from others if they have had something similar.
Thank you
Hi
Having an achy painful leg doesn't sound pleasant and I was wondering if you'd spoken to your BCNS? As you say, being diagnosed with cancer does make you worry that everything you feel or notice is associated with the cancer but it might not be.
I had a different type of cancer but noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Replying to you will 'bump' your post back to the top of the discussion list where it'll be more easily seen.
