Just wanted to say Hi, I'm a bit slow to join. I was diagnosed 18months ago with secondary breast cancer with bone and lung mets. I'm on targeted therapy which seems to be holding it at bay for now . I'm very up and down with how I feel emotionally and physically but just taking each day as it comes. I have long term back problems and now also need a hip replacement which is really holding me back but I've been told due to the cancer it is very unlikely I will get a hip replacement. Now on the one hand if say I only have another 12 months on this planet but if there is the possibility of longer I'm going to become immobile due to the pain in my hip. I feel like screaming what is the point of taking drugs to keep me going if any other health conditions won't be treated.
Well that's me, don't get me wrong generally I'm very positive and don't want to be seen as a whinger but just had to let off steam.
