Hi everyone! Has anyone ever had LFT’s when having blood work done? I’m so worried that the mets have travelled to my liver. Any advice would be gratefully received! x

  • Hi

I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet, so I did a search in the group to see if there were any previous posts which mention LFT's and found these for you to have a look through.

  • Thank you so much   much appreciated!! x

  • I had raised LFTs due to medication. It’s quite common apparently. X

  • Thanks   yet another week where they are raised so no medication!! Starting to get really concerned now as it took them six months to decide in December that I had secondaries and until now have only had one course of treatment. I was doing ok mentally until this week, now I’m all over the place.

  • I really feel for you. Delays and pauses in treatment mess with our heads. Hopefully everything will settle down and you will be back on course next week. Sending love and peace to you x

  • Hi! I hope everyone’s doing well. my liver enzymes were Elevated as well. My last chemo was on Feb 1 and til now I haven’t had my 3rd chemo yet. I have appointment to see the liver specialist.
Apparently it’s common and no treatment to normalize the liver enzymes. It’s just so  worrying and frustrating that the treatments have to be delayed.
I do hope you resumed with your chemo?
    All the best.

  • Hi   hope things have settled for you. After 5 weeks treatment has restarted but on a lower dose. No chemo but Palbociclib and Denosumab. Here’s hoping the nexts bloods are ok!
