I've just started my hormone treatment Anastrozole and have heard horror stories about the side effects, I know it's going to be different for everyone but I'm actually waiting for the effects to happen, I guess I'm hoping for reactions from the community to tell me lots of positive things or just a reassurance that if I do get reactions they will get better with time (only started yesterday) .
Hi Moly, so glad I can share now as I was on this site quite often when going through treatment. Here is the link for the massage. Florida proton who put out this video is excellent and they do radiation there. I live in Florida so things are a bit different in treatments at times but more similarities than differences. I used procure hydrocortisone cream 1% but any brand that is 1% should be fine.
I hope you don’t feel fatigued too but if you do you will just need to rest and your work should understand. We are all different and react differently. I am retired so I didn’t have to worry about work. I worked as a nurse and it is not easy to take time off so glad I didn’t have to deal with it. Hugs to you and Happy New Year a little late

Hi Barbara, Florida how lovely I visited there a few years ago ,I'm from England I will definitely check out the video .Four days in on the tablets nothing different yet (its still very early i know)Thank you again
Hi Moly , just popping in to say that I’ve been on Anastrozole for 6 years. Hopefully just one more year to go. I do have some side effects but I’ve kept popping the pills as I want to do all I can to help reduce the risk of recurrence. And I’m very grateful that 6 years on, so far so good! I’m looking forward to seeing how I feel when I stop but at the same time will feel that I’ve lost a bit of a safety net. I’d say try not to think too much about potential side effects, it’s easy to dwell on them but as others have said, there will be fewer posts here from those who don’t get any! Love and hugs, HFxx
Hi thank you for the reply and never thought of it as my safety net ,love that ! ...this community is wonderful it took me awhile to post so glad I have now x
