Hi, I've had 3 out of 15 sessions of radiotherapy and have already developed an irritating rash between my boobs. I have been using E45 lotion, but seems to get redder after applying. Has anyone got any recommendations on the best thing to use and are creams better than lotions?
Hi Daisy24 , I think you’ll get lots of suggestions here, for my part I used Aveeno lotion mainly, plus some of the time aloe Vera cream but I found that got a bit tacky. Does your team have any suggestions? Some folk here were advised which product to use but I was just told to use one that I knew I didn’t react to. Aveeno had been mentioned here so I got that. I was also told by the hospital team not to use anything within 2 hours of my sessions. Good luck with it all, love and hugs, HFxx
Hi HappyFeet1, thanks for your reply. I have heard a lot of people say they've used aveeno, so would be worth trying that. My skin has been more sensitive anyway since chemo. Have had a lot of issues with dressings after surgery. Xx
