Hi everyone

After some advice. I had lumpectomy reincision 9 days ago, 5 weeks after original WLE and LN biopsy.

The first time around I took paracetamol every 4 hours and breezed through recovery...I was lucky.

This time, I noticed when I came around after the operation in the recovery room I could feel moderate pain where my wound was.  I gotnit under control with paracetamol again for a few days and then didn't need pain relief anymore. I was doing exercises, driving, shopping and walking etc no issues.

Then last night I started to get moderate pain again and my breast is swollen...but not with liquid  (I had a more swollen breast the first time around and I could gear liquid sloshing around but no pain and it sorter itself out).

I didn't sleep hardly at all last night and paracetamol not having much effect. I have just taken 1 codeine tablet an hour ago and it's eased a little but not completely.

I don't have any redness or leaking from the wound and no other symptoms like fever etc.

Does this seem normal? I really don't fancy A and E at this time on a Saturday night but it's different from last time and I'm an overthinker.

I plan to call breast care nurse Monday if I can make it to then.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.
