Hi, I've had 3 out of 15 sessions of radiotherapy and have already developed an irritating rash between my boobs. I have been using E45 lotion, but seems to get redder after applying. Has anyone got any recommendations on the best thing to use and are creams better than lotions?
If you go on the Avene website you can see how they focus on severe skin issues. Chemo and radiation are talked about too. Take care. Here is the link to their website. On my list for sure would I enjoy a trip there for sure.

Hi I used Aveeno during Radiotherapy but not in the morning before the session. I had always used E45 on my face before I was diagnosed with BC but found that it irritated my skin on my breasts so swapped to Aveeno and had no problems. I am now 3 months past radiotherapy and still use it every morning and in the evening before bed. My skin is great and the putting it on makes sure I feel for any lumps or bumps. x
Good for you. I had my last lumpectomy and radiation in 2022 and still moisturize my little puppies every day after showering. Skin is so soft and you are right can feel for lumps etc.
