I had my first chemo session on Wednesday with PC and Pembro and the last couple of days my vision seems a bit more blurry (especially distance but I am short sighted).
it is most noticeable watching TV but I had my eyes tested a few weeks ago and got new glasses which were fine til now. Could this be a side effect of the chemo?
Has anyone had this and how long did it last if so?
Thanks,
Keely xx
Hi Kiwi79 welcome to the forum. The answer is yes chemo and drugs we need and radiotherapy can all affect our eyesight. It does seem to be very changeable over time though so you will probably notice periods where it is better than others. Good thing though to keep in touch with the Optician and get any changes checked out. Hooe it settles down for you soon..xxx
Hi Kiwi, my daughter has had significant vision changes with chemo. They change throughout the three week cycle, she has learned to recognise the pattern and manage them. She was referred to an ophthalmologist at thr hospital who has assured her everything should return to normal when chemo is finished.
Best of luck with your treatment.
