PICC Removal

Hi All

I have 1 more EC and then 3 Paclataxel cycles to go but my thoughts and anxiety turn to the removal of this thing.

Just wondering if anyone has had this removed after treatment has finished. Is it painful? As uncomfortable as when it went in? Any complications I should consider?

I know it seems a long way to go but my brain at 6 am!!!!

Good morning

please please don’t worry about picc line removal I like you was absolutely terrified, but it took literally seconds I felt nothing , in fact I didn’t believe they’d removed it . Worse part was taken the sticky dressing off ! After that honestly it was gone in seconds there was no sensation or pain whatsoever .wishing you the very best
