Hi All,
I was treated for widespread DCIS last year and had a Mx with immediate pap flap reconstruction.
I know lumps are normal...but I've just found a very small (tiny!) hard lump deep in my reconstructed breast in the area towards the armpit. It's been 10 months since surgery. I will go and get it checked but I just wondered if anyone has experienced anything similar?
Hi, it's so worrying, isn't it. I noticed a new lump near my lumpectomy scar about 2 years after surgery and my consultant was really happy to check it out for me, luckily it was nothing, but reassuring to have it checked.
