Hi All,
I finished chemotherapy after 6 cycles a year and a half ago - Docetaxel and Carboplatin alongside Phesgo and Zometa, the last two of which I am still receiving.
Even though I finished over a year ago I am still having problems with my nails.
As soon as they grow at all they start to crumble and flake and then catch on everything. They have now started to split higher up as well.
I have been using O.P.I daily nail strengthener since the start of treatment.
Has anyone found something that will help with this and is this something that will improve over time or do I just need to get used to it. (I have also lost a couple of toenails in the last few months - they just fell of with new nails underneath)
Thank you!
Hi. Polybalm is fantastic. Expensive but worth it. You gwt 2 in a box. One for your fingernails and one for your toe nails.
