Consultant worried about ultrasound

Hi Budsbails23 welcome to the forum. They may be worried it is Cancer and are therefore preparing you for that possibility by the sounds of things. However, you are absolutely right in that they wont know exactly what it is you are delaing with until the biopsy results come back. 

You will be reeling with lots of different questions I Imagine so please remember we are here whenever you feel ready to ask those questions. 

Hi and welcome . Im sorry you’ve been left in limbo . I’m  just 10 days after diagnosis .Have they given you a date for your results ? I was given a letter that had a breast cancer nurse to contact, do you have any number to ring ? X 

Hi yes they said same to me at the mammagram recall when I had the ultrasound and biopsy in January. It was a horrible wait for the results appointment where it was confirmed. But not a total surprise as I'd been told it was probably cancer at the biopsy. There was just the small hope they were mistaken- but sadly not. Sending hugs xx

Thank you . It’s very scary but if it’s BC, once you have a diagnosis and a treatment plan , it helps to focus on that . I think my follow up letter arrived a few days after my mammogram/biopsy . The appointment was 10 days later , they have to wait for the results x
