So I had a right lymph node clearance and right mastectomy on 29th November. I've had x2 EC and I'm having my third next week. This morning my left armpit is a bit sore (not sure if I csn feel anything) and now I''m spiralling that it's on my left side.
Hi Hobo welcome to the forum. I am sorry to hear how worried that you are. Whoa lets look at what's happening and see if we help you to think that this could be something else, other than your worst thoughts.
Is it possible that having had surgery on the right side you will have been using that left arm more for lots of different activities? That may explain why you have become more aware of the left hand side. I imagine thta you are not alone in spiralling ,we have all been there but it is so important not to go there until you absolutely have to. I would highly recommend that you give the unit a call maybe on Monday and ask them for advice and if you are having treatment next week, please ask the nurses there to have a look for you and maybe them doing that will be able to offer you some reassurance..
Sending some huge big hugs your way for now. xx
