I'd love to hear from anyone who has experience of working whilst on Pembrolizomab and Capecitabine. I'm fast using up my sick pay and need to start earning again BUT worried about working as a primary school teacher (oh, the germs!) whilst immunosuppressed and possibly feeling grotty. Thank you!
Hello, I was teaching when I had cancer. Because of the pandemic, I had to work at home because of my vulnerability. Occupational Health insisted. They might have some input in your situation. But whatever if you have to go back then you are entitled to adjustments (cancer is covered under the Equality Act) So for example you should have a properly ventilated classroom with plenty of space and could I think reasonably expect air purifiers eg which recommend
Please do your research and push for them. I think in the US classrooms have to have air purifiers and I think it would greatly help pupil and teacher absenteeism here
