Why is it you can't work? Is it nature of your job? I was fortunate I was able to work throughout from home and was well enough to do so. And my oncologist supported it on condition it was from home
I was told I could work if I felt up to it but not probably not advisable the week after chemo as immune system is low. I work reduced hours my good week and the beginning of my chemo week.
It does depend on your job. I'm fortunate I have worked from home to a certain degree ever since lockdown. So I had everything set up. It was left very much up to me how much I worked with no pressure at all from my managers
It does, I work in retail, so only work my goo week, however I am being made redundant on Friday so all being well after chemo Wednesday hoping ok to do last 2 days to shut down the shop.
