Starting chemo next week

I’m not starting next week, but hopefully you can link up with lots of people who are.

It’s a big thing isn’t it, and the emotions are varied and endless! 
I hope your chemo goes well. There are lots of tips on here about coping with it, and all the different ways in which it can affect people.

I’m starting chemo on Monday.  In some ways I’m glad to be starting (as the sooner it starts the sooner it’ll be over!) but I’m also nervous as I don’t yet know which of the many potential side effects will affect me.

I’m having 3xEC then 3xDocetaxel - what about you?

I too was told that the chemo is to reduce the likelihood of recurrence when your cancer puts you at risk of this

Hi I have set up a new thread for October chemo starters. I too had 4 ec and 3 docetaxel as adjuvant treatment following successful lumpectomy. Everyone is different but it wasn't as bad as I feared

Hi ive just finished the EC chemo and just had my first Docetaxel. Ive found Docetaxel to have different symptoms achy body and feeling i have no energy. I have also started on the phesgo injections.
