Had mastectomy and reconstruction using Latissimus Doris 14 weeks ago, had few complications, donor sight wouldn’t heal had to go back 8 weeks after surgery to have the Sony site stitched and sluffy removed, this has healed but donor site very stiff and tight feels like mussels stuck to ribs I’m trying to massage this as much as possible. I’m wondering if anyone could recommend anything to help release this, I’m not sure if I could have a massage to help remove the muscle help the tight feeling iv been doing stretching exercises. Any help much appreciated

I hope you do not mind me replying as I had a different kind of cancer to you but I am hoping that it will bump your post back to the top. Hopefully someone who has had a similar experience will see it and offer support.
I am sorry to hear that the donor site is causing some discomfort. Have you spoken to your BCN for some advice. I wonder if they maybe able to suggest some ideas that may help.
