Covid Booster in which arm - the PICC line one or the one with lymph nodes removed??

Hi FlowerN, i don’t have a picc line, I have an arm port and I had my boosters in that arm. I was advised not to have any injections, bloods, blood pressure etc from my arm with no lymph nodes. 
The pharmacist should be able to advise too.

I had mine done in my thigh avoided my arms altogether.  The pharmacist said this is quite common and Happy to do so.  Hood luck and big hugs

Pharmacist said they've only been told to avoid the arm with the lymph nodes removed , so had it done in the arm with the PICC line in, and hoping all will be OK

Check your oncologist is ok with you having booster. My oncologist told me not to

I was going to check with my Oncologist yesterday during a scheduled phone appointment,  but he ended up not phoning

I did check with 2 different oncology nurses in the past week and both said it's better to have it than not to have it, but to have it in the 2nd week after an infusion and a few days if possible before the next infusion, so that is what I did and am hoping I'll be OK.

Great as long as you have checked with someone. It could of been because I'd been neutropenic.
