Hi Cuffcake, hope your radiotherapy goes ok. Big hugs xx
Thanks Cazza25. They told me it would be around day 7 I might start feeling the side effects. I have the odd nauseous moment and I still have the side effects from chemo, peripheral neuropathy and a strange taste in my mouth. I try to persevere and ignore things and carry on as best I can. I love my garden and I managed to mow the lawn yesterday but am feeling a bit yucky today. After radio today I’m going to come home and do my jigsaw puzzle as I love doing those too.
How are you feeling after your first EC?

I know exactly what you mean! Not the fruit on the head though
I’m into crafting and have ordered some hoops to add some of my beads onto.
it’s not vain, I think anything we can do to steer off the anxiety of loosing our hair and sort of come to terms with that part must be a positive thing. I ordered a lovely inexpensive scarf from amazon but as its sort of silky worry it might slip off, I really like that front tie turban look. Glad it went ok for you. Hopefully not too bad side effects. X
Anyone else having weekly treatment? Oncologist said because I’m triple negative they can to spread it out to minimise side effects. So 8 sessions with 3 drugs (one of which is pacliotaxil) and a weekly pacliotaxil for the first 10 weeks, hope so, as going in weekly seems a pain!
Hi Cuffcake, I’m doing ok ish, just a bit tired, lightheaded and starting with heartburn today. I’m trying to rest today, I really hate sitting around as I’m used to being so busy.
I’ve also started doing jigsaws, I find them really relaxing. I’m hoping to get out walking again tomorrow with my dog, my walks are my sanity.
Glad you have your garden that’s a great distraction.
Take it easy, big hugs xx
Hi Rok & BecA - I am triple negative and am on 3 weekly cycles for 8 cycles. It does seem confusing why we are all being treated slightly differently. Maybe because we are all different ages? and maybe we all have other health issues? I am due a telephone consultation this Friday 12th May, so will ask why. Will report back once I have had that conversation.. Maybe, it's just that different oncologists have diffeent views on treatment.
