Hi everybody, not sure if anyone can relate but I really don’t know what to do and I’m just walking around the house feeling so uncomfortable. I had a hemmorhoid that for for all these years hadn’t bothered me. I started EC Chemo last week and for a few days I’ve been so constipated it’s unreal and feel like I have a football coming out (apologies for graphics) Epsom salt looks good but then I’m getting paranoid about buying it. My diet is good and I’m drinking water but unfortunately it’s giving me issues. If anyone can shed any light please!! X
I feel your pain (literally) - i have had them pretty much constantly throughout treatment - it's driving me nuts! Just hoping they will eventually go away once treatment has finished. x
Hi I had terrible pain with hemeroids after surgery and during FEC chemo. I was prescribed movicol for constipation which worked really well just one sachet a day. I found over the counter creams didn't work to relieve the pain (I felt like I was trying to pass shards of glass at times!) So my GP prescribed uniroid ointment which really helped.
