My delayed DIEP surgery is imminent. Which I'm excited about and a bit worried too, to be fair. However, I don't feel well informed at all. I'm seeing the surgeon next week. I've had a pre op appointment already... Bloods, ECG, height, weight, blood pressure.... All the basics. Not had a scan to look for blood vessels....I read somewhere that needed to happen????? Not been given any advice re bras, support pants etc, although I've read about that from other sources. When do they tell you this stuff? I'm wondering if I've missed out on an appointment or something. Story of my life to be honest. I feel like I'm going on unprepared. What experiences have others had regarding preparation for the big day? Thank you
