Hi I had a lumpectomy at the beginning of December & went back to see consultant a week later who told me the cancer had not spread to my lymph nodes . I have noticed that the swelling in my breast has not gone down it feels like a bowling ball.. I just need some radiotherapy treatment which I have to start in second week of January. Can anyone give me advice on how I will feel during treatment, thanks.
I wasn't told that, just to make sure whatever I used had absorbed before radiotherapy. I think for me the main thing was gentle, no rubbing. If it's sore and skin broken that's a completely different issue.
Thars so funny, great sense of humour Ochno. Are you a haggis eater? How will you celebrate? I was in the Army and the Scots Nurse would turn the TV off when they played God Save the Queen at the end of the night. It sounds so dated now, but it was the early 80s. It was in the rest room on nights.
I never did massage during radiation only gently cleansing and moisturizing like you.
