I was diagnosed 10 weeks ago and everything happened so fast. I couldn't keep up. From a biopsy to diagnosis from diagnosis to surgery from surgery to results from results to treatment. I was diagnosed as stage 2 put on Tamoxifen for ten years and currently waiting for radio therapy and I still do not know what to think feel or what next. I have had a traumatic stressful 15months prior from losing my mother to dementia. Being suicide contracting norovirus . COVID which both have left me so tired all of the time and my hair falling out due to stress I think and now this I just don't know how to feel or what to think I'm just so tied. Is this normal?

I was diagnosed in October 2021 had surgery in November, began chemo in December and am about to begin Radiotherapy on Monday.I lost my mum at the end of 2020 of dementia spent early 2021 sorting her estate just felt I was coming out the other side and got hit with this
Life can be cruel we have to get through this and stay positive if we can. This group is so helpful and supportive.

Hi there, it sounds like you've had a huge amount going on so it's not surprising to be so tired and I think sometimes we forget that your body needs time to recover from surgery, being tired after that is part of the recovery process. This group can be a big support and if you need to chat things through, you can always call the Macmillan helpline or find some more support tools on line through this link.
I found it helped to take one day at a time and to focus on the stuff I could control, but I know that's easier said than done. Best wishes
