Hello

I've just been diagnosed with invasive ductal cancer grade 3 triple negative I'm so scared is anyone going through the same?

  • Love that you remind us of the celebration we wi have when this is all done .  How’s the hair Shaz cx

  • Hi, yh really coming out now. It really looks like a short haircut, still have my brows and lashes thou. Drinking loads today, got my treatment tomorrow and Saturday my friend coming to shave it. Then it's done.  If the hairs on my legs could go now would save me shaving them ha ha. Got a talking therapy session in an hour at the cancer centre. To help with coping strategies and relaxation. Early night for me then, thou my niece who is taking me did say we would fit in a nice Costa today, yummy lol, how are you today Harleybear xxx

  • Is your cancer centre open then . I could really do with something like this but our centre is closed for groups etc.  Hope you got to go out .  I’ve not had a good day really starting to crash physically again now , feel sick xxx

  • Thanks , as long as it not as claustrophobic as the MRI scan .  It’s the results that scare me , I feel like I am facing death everything feels dark with no future today , can’t shake it off xxx

Harley. Do you mind if I suggested something. Google relaxation techniques or qi gong for stress and anxiety. Then look at the video online and do those exercises. If you are low in energy then do them sitting down. The breathing exercises will help you so much with mindfulness.

I don't mean to butt in but hopefully this can help lift you up a bit from the darkness?

    (((Big hugs)))

  • No butt in all you like . Will give anything a go that may help . Thanks xx

  • Hi, yh cancer centre is open, for one 2 one not for groups. Claud that's what I did today, the breathing exercises, really helped. Also helped me with coping strategies. I am ready for my treatment tomorrow now xxx

Good luck shazzer. Will be thinking of you and cheering you on my dear. Keep calm and breathe through it all, you can do it!!! I believe in you girl x

, hope you're OK? You've been quiet, worried how you've been?

there is also the 'someone like me' helpline with Breast Cancer Now charity which can hook you up to talk to someone in your situation? In my earlier days I found accepting my diagnosis was extremely hard, and reached out to this service.

    Sleep well everyone.
