Hello
I've just been diagnosed with invasive ductal cancer grade 3 triple negative I'm so scared is anyone going through the same?
Oh harleybear no, hope your feeling better soon. Today I am 7 days post op. Drain was removed on Monday. I have a wound check on Friday. Feeling okay, just tired still, so I am resting plenty. I also have herceptin no 6 on Friday. Best wishes everyone xxx
Hi Shaz , glad you are healing ok and the drain has gone . It is a very weird feeling them pulling it out isn’t it ? I am now sat waiting to have a liver ultrasound , hoping I can go home today still though xxxx
Aww hope yr home soon. And your ultrasound goes okay xxx
Sorry to hear that you were admitted to hospital again. I hope that you are home now and that you've had your ultrasound and that it went well.
Hugs.
Daisy
Hi Harleybear.....you will have to ask for a season ticket or a sleeping bag - but joking aside, hope you manage to escape from hospital. Try not to think of radiotherapy as a worrying thing. You've been through and survived much worse. Radiotherapy is really OK compared to surgery.
Hi V how you doing . Well I’ve dodged another bullet !! I have been released early for good behaviour . I wonder how many of my 9 lives I have left . Thanks for all the good wishes xx
Hi Harleybear
How are you doing? You’ve been on my mind today as it’s been a while since you were last on here.
Daisy xxx
Hi Daisy , thanks for thinking of me . Been a rough couple of week I had one session of chemo cancelled as was neutropenic , my magnesium has also been very low so have been having infusions every week . I was also admitted to hospital wirh an infection . All is back on track now I think . I had Chema yesterday but the dose was reduced so hoping it won’t me me feel so bad . Overall I have found this weekly chemo much worse than the EC , I never seem to get time to recover . My next oncology appointment will be to plan the radiotherapy as I now have only 6 sessions of chemo left so half way now . How are you doing ? Xx
Good morning Harleybear
Nice to hear your news that you are half way through the chemo - another milestones achieved. It is a long haul but you are hanging on in there. I hope that the reduced dose leaves you better than the full one. Thinking of you and sending you big hugs.
All the best
