Apologies - I’m sure this will have been raised before but I’m really struggling to find a post surgery bra in my size 36J. I’ve tried an H cup but that’s no good and that seems to be the largest cup size in front fastening soft bra’s. Other bras come in L ,XL,XXL etc and I haven’t a clue if they’ll be any good.
thsnk you so much for any suggestions -Lesley
Hi there. I am a larger cup lady myself. I have bought 2 mastectomy bras from Bravissimo - have found these to be the most comfortable, they come in chest and cup size with a pocket for prosthesis. I am a 36 GG
Have found a company too for measuring face to face and have bras and prosthesis to try which is in October. I too have struggled to find bra that’s comfy and supportive for the other one.
I had wondered about suggesting Bravissimo. Nothing to to with cancer, but I used to have a 32 H friend who used Bravissimo. I though it could be likely that they might have a post surgery range..
I’ve looked - they have some soft bras but the front fasteners don’t go higher than G. I think I’ll just have to get some soft rear fasteners.
thanks for the suggestion though. Xx
I missed the front fastening bit ♀️
post op I used crop tops from M&S, did the op side and over head first, then the other side as no fasteners. Still use these for bed. I still haven’t found a good front fastener without having a squashed mono boob !
Yep - I suffer from the old mono boob at times.
Thank you for answering - I did look but the front fastening ones don’t seem to go up to my size. I was advised to use a front fastener but if I can’t get one I’ll try some back fastening ones. Thank you again
Hello I've been told to get a front opening bra, I am having a nightmare trying to find one cheaply, I am a 38ff are the ones at maggies a the Marsden expensive
I am a 40HH and for years had been wearing MOLKE bras in the original style. They aren’t front opening- they go over your head but they are so comfortable- I had a single mastectomy 5 weeks ago and I’m now wearing these again and they are still comfortable. There is space for a prosthetic to fit in or equally work if flat.
they come in loads of different colours , 100% cotton and so comfortable. They had a Facebook page too for sharing size discussions as they have their own size chart. I’m a 40HH and wear a XL mega for reference.
