Hello
I've just been diagnosed with invasive ductal cancer grade 3 triple negative I'm so scared is anyone going through the same?
Get some rest Harleybear, so are you planning on going to work tomorrow. Yh I was wondering what to do with work. What did your chemo team advise xxx
Morning , I am working today , but it’s easy for me as I can work from home . When I asked about work they said it varies from person to person and will depend if you work with lots of other people due to your immune system being compromised . Also from my perspective if it is not causing me stress to work I will still do it but the moment I feeL it is compromising my health I will stop I am feeling ok this morning no side effects so far .and no hair on my pillow so all good xx
I was wondering how you was feeling today, take it easy. Don't work too hard. I work in a playgroup so I have been advised to not work once treatment starts because of the germs I need to find something to keep me busy. Glad your feeling ok take care x
Hi Key ,part of my job involves me going into schools etc but over the last year we have perfected the art of online working . I too was told not to go into schools . I don’t think I even need the anti sickness right now . Early days I suppose but so far so good . Xxx
I heard drinking lots of water helps, Ah thats good lots of work can be done online these days.
Hi harleybear that's amazing having my picc line 2moro did you have one and start treatment Friday xxx
I had my Picc line Monday and started Tuesday , better that way as you would have to go back the next day to have dressing changes anyway . The dressing they put on initially is quite bulky so it is better the second time . It will be a bit sore for the first day or so , hot water bottle in it after really helps it xx
Aww thank you, how are you feeling. Any tiredness or nauseous xxx
Glad to hear that everything went fine yesterday and that so far you have no side effects Long may that continue. xx
How's everyone today, I am feeling abit apprehensive but okay xxx
