Hello

I've just been diagnosed with invasive ductal cancer grade 3 triple negative I'm so scared is anyone going through the same?

  • Can't beat the beach. Have a lovely time away from it all and yes, bugger off cancer.

  • Key, hope things will pass and you will pick up...not sure what to do with night sweats...its so tough but you're a strong woman...you got this!!! Hang in there for better days though hard to imagine.

Take care Key , thinking about you. Have a lovely time Harleybear. Hope everyone is ok , Claud you ok?

  • Hi my lovely...I am more worried about you ...be kind to yourself and hope you're on the up with your feelings and moods. How have you been? Rber your meds OK? And drink plenty water.

Thank you for asking. I had a blip removed today on the left....I can barely breathe with that big bandage around my chest! I will have to bare with it for 24 hours. I think I was guinea pig to a new young nurse! Well they have to start somewhere. I am sure I will be sore tomorrow once anesthesia wears off.

Wig came today. Strange to see...

Got my appointment on Friday and my child will have his cast off from fractured wrist tomorrow.

Are you able to put your arms above head very well? Not sure if I really am progressing well with this exercise. It pulls when I try. But can wear t-shirts now

    (((Biggest virtual hug to you!)))

Hi Claud thanks for the lovely message and update on your progress. I'm on had a nice clinic appointment today saw oncologist nurse she was pleased with me and as I struggled last time she is going to reduce the dose by 10% which should help me.  Then saw the Thrombosis Register she was kind and told me she was not worried about my blood clot as it was superficial and I'm on injections now to stop another one. She will take me off them in five weeks. I'm ok doing them now I suppose we just get used to all this stuff in the end. I know the bandage are tight and it might just be a Seroma which will go often on its own. I'm getting into my wigs now don't wear them in the house and wear them with a beanie or headband  and they look nice. I look like a 70s hippie in my headband. I'm pleased about your little one they will be glad to get that off. My arms are ok now but took some time we have live zoom physio exercise everyday to help us. Yes mine still pulls and it's 4 months ago.  My next Chemotherapy is Thursday I'm going to go for my grandson Kyle 8 and only for him . My last one will be for his little brother Zac 5 bless him .  That's all my news take care , my mood is low but I didn't cry at all today so that's good X

  • Hiya Jayne

Do remember the medics got a handle of your case, and are all routing for us, it seems they are so in control and you're on the right path now. I am so pleased they managed to give you that confidence. I know how it is with knock backs. Luckily you're heard and they decided to reduce dose, it must be a relief for you.

Each appointment i get a different updates and your head just go to places but be assured there is always light at the end of the tunnel. We HAVE to believe.

You need to also remember as you said what is your reason for the fight...I do have to convince myself everyday even though so frightened!

You're so so close to the chemo finish line dear. Do hang in there...you have really done so well and I truly believe you're such a positive person, it's OK for some things to shake us to the core!!

Bless both your grandkids who keep you going. Do go back to them when u feel a low!! They are everything and reason why you are fighting this!!

Having this tight bandage just reminds me of how ladies use to wear corsets!! Lol how uncomfy!

A step at a time lovely. You can DO this x

  • Hi Rhiwbina

I'm glad to hear that your appointment went well and that your oncologist is going to reduce your dose to help with the side effects.

Best of luck with your chemo tomorrow.
