  • Thanks , and !

Fantastic news on Larry shrinking, fingerscrossed and he'll have absolutely done one by the end of chemo!

Hope everyone else who's finished  chemo is getting stronger week by week.

    Take care xx

Hi Fifitrix! That’s such brilliant news - I hope you’re having a lovely weekend to celebrate.

Thanks to you all for advice. I’m still struggling to make peace with a decision, but have a list of questions for the surgeon tomorrow so I’ll see what he says.

I’m also struggling with joint and muscle pain and fatigue at the moment. I don’t know if it’s the T&P injections or recovery from chemo. & surgery. Hoping to get bloods checked this week.

  • Hi Ruby, I imagine it's a combination of everything causing the tiredness and achiness. I think we just have to hope and trust it will ease.

I hope meeting with your surgeon helps your decision.

  • Hi  , don't know if it's the SE fromeT and P injections but 8+ weeks post chemo and 2+ weeks post surgery I'm still experiencing bouts of fatigue if that's any help. Just before surgery the anaesthetist said my red cell count was low and I was anaemic... As a result of the chemo, so I expect that takes time to improve. Take things gently and ask all your questions.

  • I’m glad to hear that your scan results are clear.

Best of luck with whatever comes next

    Best wishes

Thanks Lynne and Iblodwin - it’s really helpful to know it’s not just me.

Decided to go ahead with surgery and get my radiotherapy. Op is a week tomorrow! Feeling a bit overwhelmed but will be glad when it’s done. So hoping I can be finished with treatment by Christmas.

  • I'm glad you're able to proceed so soon Ruby! Fingers crossed for you. Will they give you 6 weeks to get over the surgery before RT?

I am very achey today, think I might contact my BCN to see if she can offer any advice.  Would be great to know if it's likely to ease or even what's causing it, whether it's the chemo or the Tamoxifen.
