not sure if I am posting on correct Forum,   here goes

a year ago, I had delayed diep flap construction taking skin, etc  from tummy.

the shape did not look that good, different from remaining breast  (But I was made aware that getting it to look the same might not be possible)

however, the plastic surgeon consultant said he could "tweek" my reconstructed boob, taking skin/etc from top of my thigh.  could take 2 or more goes to get it something like original breast.

has anyone had this procedure carried out. ?    I would be grateful for any advice/opinions.

thanks

pam

  • Hi Christinediane, yes you have posted in the correct forum, but I am so sorry you haven't had a reply to your post yet. The breast cancer forum is very busy, and sometimes posts get a little lost. By me replying your post will now be bumped up to the top, so hopefully you will get a reply soon.

    Take care
