I start my treatment on 16 paclitaxel weekly and Herceptin every 3 weeks, I had my lumpectomy 6 weeks ago. after reading other people’s experience of the plan it sounds very daunting with lots of Nasty side effects. I am happy to post my journey if it helps others. Wishing you all well and good luck xxx
Hi S Cox, The thought of chemotherapy is very daunting. Everyone reacts differently to treatment, and treatment can always be tweaked along the way if you react too badly to it. My sister was on the same chemo that you are going to have. She was given anti sickness tablets, and steroids. I am glad to say she finished her treatment 12 months ago and is now cancer free.
Hopefully one of the other ladies here will be along soon to share their story with you.
Good luck with the treatment.
