Masectomy

4 weeks then part time from home but it depends on your job and how you feel. I was driving after 3 weeks. Find its good to have some sort of "normality". Good luck x

You were fortunate to back so soon. Unfortunately my wound has still not completely closed up after 4.5 months!

I drove for the first time yesterday. .however that was due to breaking my arm 8 weeks ago.

I had extremely poor care to begin with. No help with dressing wound, so it's been a long difficult journey.

All the best with getting back to some sort of normal. 

Hey , i had single mastectomy on 10 th of March and yesterday i went to work , i started to drive 12 days after surgery short distance. My GP amended sick leave notice with light duty and part time hours, but everyone different... 

That's really amazing, give yourself time to recover though. I think it hits you later sometimes, but very well dine.

I had truly awful care and infections as a result of that. 

Also you are probably much younger, therefore your body heals quicker.im 67

Hey, i already regretting that i went back to work as this week its much harder than last week. Iam 50 few days ago :) My wound perfectly healed but breast pain still there 24/7 . Have a beautiful day x

I had a mastectomy Feb 16th after the drain was removed, I did warm water compress then used arnica cream to help bring out the bruising also bio oil. Hope this helps you.

Hey, i still have plasters all around and my nurse said it will fell at some point so i cant even see my scars . Just waiting day bu day .. thank you for your advice lovely to hear how ladies care about each other . X
