3 week post mascetomy small lump appeared

Hi Helen do not panic, I had a mastectomy 4 weeks ago , the lump you have does it feel like fluid, because if it does it’s called a seroma which is a pocket of fluid that can happen after surgery, I have two at the moment , which they say will disperse on there own. I hope this helps.

Hi yes it does thank you I was panicing. I see the consultant for my results next Thursday but that is so far away as we all know the waiting game is the worst.

Hi Helen if you feel you need to speak to someone, call the Macmillan nurses at the hospital where you had surgery, don’t bottle it up.
