The waiting is awful isn't it but you're nearly there....?

I was in a similar position to you in 2015. The first plan did not include chemo but the analysis....triple negative.....eventually required it. It isn't pleasant but obviously it was thought necessary. It has probably helped keep the cancer away so I expect that is why they are now suggesting this route for you.

As you say...don't google. Very outdated and scary. Ask your questions on this thread. Someone will have had a similar experience.Try to distract yourself by doing something nice between now and the results day. If you think the chemo is likely, you might want to freeze some soups or light meals. A lot of people lose their appetite during chemo because the drugs can change your taste. Join in some of the chatty  threads like Awake. There is humour there as well as more serious moments. I know you are worried but try to remember that your cancer was probably removed by the lumpectomy and future treatment is to stop it coming back. It seeems to be working for me at the moment which makes it worth some of the awful days chemo produced. The radiotherapy was thankfully problem free.

I hope all goes well for you as you continue your treatment. The wait will finish, the treatment does end. There are many sucessfully treated posters on this site.
